The samples that Nira and Shiv brought from their factory in India to show to Ann were so extraordinary, that a mutual admiration society was formed and an immmediate bond was sealed. With Embex, Nira and Shiv's company, came swatch after swatch of beading and embroidery that was so beautiful, Ann swore that one day they would work together to show off her designs combined with their creativity and workmanship.
This collaboration has been many years in planning and a lifetime in dreaming.. Never has a designer had such an opportunity to create real "couture" clothing at such an incredible price for so many. All items are cut to order and made almost entirely by hand. Each embroidered coat, jacket, skirt or dress takes at least a week to make and is lovingly crafted by a talented artist in Dehli, India.
This, then, is the dream of Vintage Collection come true!
